16th October 2022 – Pillar Valley NSW

Co-hosted by: NSW Nature Conservation Council

On the 16th of October this year, we’ll be holding our first Picnic for Nature where communities across the state will come together to host and hold picnics to celebrate nature. This is more than just a fun day of getting outside with family and friends, it’s an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty and biodiversity of our local area and a chance for you to connect with your community and local environmental groups.

The Clarence Environment Centre is hosting a Picnic for Nature at Banyula, a 465ha conservation property in Pillar Valley from 11am.

We have an amazing program organised with bush walks, workshops, music, fun activities for the kids and discussions on what is next for the area.

Bring a picnic lunch and something to sit on (but no pets please). It’s an all ages event and everyone is welcome, so come along with your friends, family and neighbours… It’s going to be a great day!

Numbers are limited so please RSVP on the Nature Conservation Council Clarence Valley Picnic Page here (https://www.nature.org.au/clarence_valley_picnic_for_nature) where you will get the exact address and additional information for the day.

Please note that your RSVP information will be shared with co-host organisations.
