Submission to the Review of the Water Sharing Plan for the Clarence River

Friday 18 October 2024

The current 10-year Water Sharing Plan (WSP) for the Clarence River, including the Nymboida, Mann, Orara, Coldstream, Blicks, etc, expires in 2026. The Natural Resources Commission is reviewing the plan and recently called for submissions. In the absence of comprehensive data from scientifically rigorous monitoring, evaluation and reporting, the Clarence WSP should only be renewed on a year-to-year basis until that data is collected, validated
and is made available to the public.

Thanks to Janet and Phil for researching and writing this submission.
