PERSONAL CARBON AUDIT

To measure your C02 emissions you need to know your yearly consumption of:

electricity in kWh. (from your electricity bill divide the number of kWhs by the number of occupants to get a personal figure)

your gas consumption in 45 kg bottles or litres

wood fuel use in kgs

petrol, diesel or LPG in litres

other forms of travel in kms. (see separate table)

Eg if you used 1500kWh of electricity multiplied by 0.45 gives you 675kgs of C02. After filling in the relevant fields add up the total.
*Emissions for greenpower and home grown firewood are zero.

The global target for 2050 is 2 tonnes
