The Shop
The past few months saw quite a turnover of shop volunteers.

We now welcome
Connie, Daniel, Rivka, Mark P. &; Varpo

Thanks to the Valley Volunteers.

The Op Shop has become a popular addition to the Centre with lots of weird and wonderful items and a huge variety of clothing, manchester, shoes and bric a brac. Full marks to Rivka for trying to keep it organised.

So please keep those unwanted items coming...
... it helps us pay the rent.

The gift shop is still well stocked, despite the 'Christmas rush', and we still have Moon Diaries and Moon Calendars as well as lovely jigsaw puzzles for children, plus the ever popular pottery, hessian and jute bags and Margaret's recycled plastic bags and wool and herb filled crocheted cushions.

There is a large variety of beautiful greeting cards, of which the Bronwyn Bankroft range deserves a special mention. The most popular of the new stock items are crystal deodorant sticks and Neem soap, all at reasonable prices.

So remember to drop in if you need a gift
or want to treat yourselves.

Our fundraising efforts over the last three months included a stall at two Southside Markets (unfortunately the Xmas Market was rained out) and another successful kitchen/cafe at the Nymboida Market. At present things are rather quiet which is quite normal for this time of the year.

A few of us have started a 'virtual food co-op' by compiling and combining orders with Santos in Byron Bay. We envisage bi-monthly orders, so anyone interested please drop in and have a look at the catalogue.

That's about all the news, so I'll finish with my usual reminder that almost everyone's membership renewals are now due....
